Environmental Management Policy

Hallam Plastics' environmental policy has been developed using ISO14001 as the basis of its Policy. It has been created to reduce the impact on our eco system by minimising waste and maximising use of the resources used in our manufacturing processes.

We have identified the legislative and regulatory requirements that apply to all areas of the company and have a close working relationship with the regulatory bodies that enforce the legislation.

Our policy is to reduce all waste by careful management of finite materials and energy, reducing the use of fossil fuels and increasing the efficiency of the business. Wherever possible, materials are recovered and recycled; either in-house or removed from site in a controlled waste system.

Hallam Plastics environmental policy is an evolving tool which allows us to implement best practice in material use and the management of our finite resources. The long term benefits are clear, and better use of raw materials means less waste and consequently lower costs for our customers.
