Painting onto plastic substrates is a specialist process which Hallam has developed over the past 30 years. Highly trained and skilled painters, using state of the art equipment produce consistent finishes across the whole spectrum of paint types, and all polymer substrates.

Working closely with carefully selected paint suppliers Hallam always strive to select the most suitable paint and finish for application, taking into account all relevant environmental factors, likely use (and abuse!) as well as colour and finish.

In addition we can offer RFI and MFI shielding using either wet spray based coatings (Nickel, Copper, Silver etc) or the more efficacious Zinc arc spray process where molten zinc is sprayed onto the surface giving exceptional surface resistivity results.

To supplement the painting facility and in order to enable Hallam Plastics to control all aspects of the business, Screen Printing and pad printing are offered as part of our in house process. By having all these processes under one roof, Hallam can control work flow; ensure consistency of finish; maintain quality standards; reduce the potential transit damage as well as eliminating transport costs.
